Welcome to Cashgram, a payday loan service provider based in South Africa. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
Introduction
1.1. Cashgram provides short-term payday loans to eligible customers in South Africa.
1.2. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including our website, mobile app, and any other platforms.
1.3. By applying for a loan, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Eligibility
2.1. To qualify for a loan, you must:
– Be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
– Be at least 18 years old.
– Have a valid South African ID.
– Have an active bank account.
– Meet our credit assessment criteria.
– Permanently or temporarily employed earning a salary
2.2. Cashgram reserves the right to decline any application at its sole discretion.
Loan Application
3.1. You must provide accurate and complete information during the application process.
3.2. Cashgram verify your information through third-party credit bureaus and other sources including proof of employment with your stated employer.
3.3. By applying, you consent to us by conducting credit checks and sharing your information with relevant parties as required by law for credit providers.
Loan Approval and Disbursement
4.1. Loan approval is subject to our assessment of your creditworthiness.
4.2. Approved loans will be disbursed to your bank account within 24 hours of approval.
4.3. Cashgram is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or other third parties.
Repayment
5.1. You agree to repay the loan amount plus interest and fees on or before the due date.
5.2. Repayment will be deducted automatically via approved debit check from your bank account on the due date unless otherwise agreed.
5.3. Late payments will incur additional fees and interest as per the National Credit Act.
Interest and Fees
6.1. Interest rates and fees will be disclosed in your loan agreement.
6.2. All charges will comply with the National Credit Act and other applicable laws.
Default
7.1. If you fail to repay your loan, Cashgram may take legal action or report your default to credit bureaus.
7.2. You will be liable for all legal and collection costs incurred.
Cancellation
8.1. You may cancel your loan agreement within 1 day of signing but before the funds have been deposited in to your account, subject to the National Credit Act.
8.2. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to accounts@cashgram.co.za
Privacy
9.1. Cashgram respects your privacy and will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and POPIA.
Amendments
10.1. Cashgram may update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
10.2. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
11.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
11.2. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
